airFiber - Do the AF24 and AF24-HD work together?
Can you connect an airFiber 24 to the airFiber 24 HD?
The airFiber 24 and airFiber 24HD (AF24 and AF24-HD) can interoperate with each other, useful if an existing device in the PtP link has broken and the only one you have is a different model.

For example, a PtP link with an old pair of airFiber 24 units, one end can be swapped for a newer airFiber 24HD.
While the two models can be linked together, the maximum throughput will be limited by the AF24 (up to 6X, 64QAM).
This feature is also useful if an existing airFiber 24 link is being upgraded to airFiber 24HD, one side can be replaced and then, replace the other AF24 unit, reducing downtime to just a few minutes.
