HostiFi - How to setup 2FA
Enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA/2FA) is important for ensuring good account security and preventing unwanted access. In this guide we'll cover how to enable 2FA for your HostiFi controller, UniFi controller and Ubiquiti online account.
Enabling 2FA on the HostiFi Portal
HostiFi supports enabling 2FA on our online portal, app.hostifi.com, which is where you manage your server and billing details.
Login to app.hostifi.com, and click on Settings in the lower left
Click the Enable button next to Two Factor Authentication
Confirm your account password
Scan the QR code, or put in the secret key in Duo, Authy, Google Authenticator, or whichever application you are using for your 2FA accounts.
