Most UniFi devices will work with UniFi OS Server platform that we host, it is mainly the Dream Machine, Dream Router and UniFi Cloud Console devices which host the UniFi software themselves, which cannot be added to an external server, like you find with HostiFi.

UniFi also only supports UniFi hardware, so other devices like EdgeMAX, airMAX, airFiber and other UISP devices cannot be managed or added to the UniFi controller. For those types of devices, we would recommend using UISP to manage them.

Which UniFi devices won't work with HostiFi?

UniFi Cloud Gateways

Pretty much all of the UniFi Cloud Gateways cannot be added to HostiFi. This is due to them running their own UniFi instance onboard and lack the ability to be managed externally. Other product lines from Ubiquiti, such as EdgeMAX, SunMAX, UISP Routing, airFiber, airMAX, UISP Wave etc cannot be added to UniFi and are supported in UISP instead.
