Download the UniFi Controller Software
- Go to the Ubiquiti Downloads page.
- Under "Controller Software," select macOS as your platform.
- Download the latest version of the UniFi Network Controller.
Install the Software
- Once the .dmg file has been downloaded, double-click on it to open the installer.
- Follow the instructions to drag the UniFi app to your Applications folder.
Launch the UniFi Controller
- Open the Applications folder and double-click the UniFi application.
- The software will start running, and the UniFi Controller interface will open in your web browser.
Set Up the UniFi Controller
- After launching, you will be directed to the UniFi Controller's setup wizard in your browser (typically at
https://localhost:8443) - Follow the on-screen prompts to set up the UniFi Controller, including creating an admin account, configuring your network, and setting up any UniFi devices you have.
That's it! You should now have the UniFi Controller installed and running on your macOS device.
