UniFi Switch 7.4.1

Ubiquiti has recently released quite a major update for its line of UniFi Switches, which contains numerous performance improvements and bug fixes. UniFi Switch 7.4.1 is available now for most switch models, with those unsupported expected to recieve the update soon.

UniFi Switch 7.4.1

UniFi Switch 7.4.1 was released to GA on March 30th and is available for the majority of UniFi Switch models, with the following devices not currently able to recieve it, although supoort is expected soon.

  • USP-RPS
  • USP-PDU-Pro/HD
  • ECS-24/48-PoE
  • USW-Pro-XG-24/48
  • USW-Pro-XG-Aggregation

This update is rather large, with various performance improvements, stability surrounding STP, IGMP and Multicast. For instance, Ubiquiti has fixed issues with loss of access when the management VLAN was changed on certain switch models and unstable behavior when using the RJ45-1G SFP module.
