UniFi 10.2.93 is not yet available for HostiFi customers. Our development team is busy testing this release and we'll update customers once this release is available.

What's new with UniFi 10.2?

This release adds a few new features:

• New Port Manager Time Machine
• Infrastructure Topology & Digital Twin
• Device Supervisor
• Option to disable buzzer sound on UniFi UPS
• New firmware revert options for UniFi devices

Port Manager Time Machine

This will let you see a historical timeline view of port activity going back 24 hours. This can then be used see when devices were connected and troubleshoot for any problems.

Infrastructure Topology

This is a digital topology map of the core network and how each switch and device connects to each other, with infomation about STP status, CPU levels and disconnected links.

Digital Twin

Digital Twin is pretty much what it sounds like, it is a digital representation of the physical rack that is installed so there is a better understanding of the physical layout of the UniFi equipment.

Device Supervisor

Device Supervisor is essentially ping watchdog for UniFi devices. The system can now monitor the uptime and availability of UniFi devices and be able to power-cycle them via a UniFi PDU or a PoE Switch.

Other improvements

Elsewhere, Ubiquiti had added the ability to disable the buzzer on the UniFi UPS devices. In a previous update the buzzer function was added when the mains power was disconnected for those devices - but now, that buzzer can be disabled if required. This requires UniFi UPS firmware version 1.4.24 or newer.
