Ubiquiti has just launched two new in-wall speakers which will work with any external audio amp, but the company is naturally suggesting that to get the best performance, it is recommended to use its own PowerAmp.
These speakers haven't exactly come from nowhere, as during UWC London 2025 in the Q&A sections with Ubiquiti CEO, Robert Pera someone asked if Ubiquiti could make these sorts of in-wall and in-ceiling speakers. Now, 12 months later they are available to purchase.

Ubiquiti offers its own PowerAmp device, which is designed to be used in a business for background office or retail store music. It can be natively paired with Spotify Connect or Soundtrack Your Brand for licenced music. Multiple PowerAmp devices can be linked together for multiple zones, enabling better control over a larger floor space.
The PowerAmp could also be used in a home environment, with built in support for Apple AirPlay and HDMI eARC, meaning a home cinema system could be linked to this for enhanced audio.
One of the new speakers is a 12.4-inch unit designed for use in a wall, with a tall rectangle design. It features two speakers, with one 6.5-inch woofer and one 1-inch tweeter. That tweeter can also be adjusted as needed, with 15° of travel.
The In-Wall Speaker is available in the US for $179 and the UK for £168.
The other speaker is round and designed for use in a ceiling. It has the same speaker specifications as the in-wall unit, with one 6.5-inch woofer and one 1-inch tweeter and again the tweeter can be adjusted if needed.
The In-Ceiling Speaker is available in the US for $149 and the UK for £142.80.
Ubiquiti is also selling its own brand of audio cable, sold in 150m reels with a gage of 14 AWG. This is $ in the US and in the UK for £286.80.
